Murrysville rallies to beat Irwin in Game 3

Murrysville scored six runs in the fifth inning to erase a two-run deficit and rally for an 8-5 victory against Irwin on Tuesday in Game 3 of the District 31 American Legion playoffs. Murrysville, the highest remaining seed in the tournament, will play host to Bushy Run at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Haymaker Park.  An error helped Murrysville tie the score, 2-2, in the fourth inning, and then after Irwin grabbed a 4-2 lead, Murrysville scored six runs on six hits.  Key hits included Bobby McGrath's two-run double and a two-run triple by Logan Madera.  McGrath worked six innings for the win.  Dylin Brooks had three hits, including a two-run double for Irwin.
