West Hempfield lost their 3rd straight game with a 13-1 loss to Kiski Valley at Laube Field in Freeport.  Nick Altier was the starting pitcher and took the loss.  Adam Prenatt doubled and Colin Critchfield and Traynor Granatire both singled in the contest.  West Hempfield will travel to Mt Pleasant High School to play Mt Pleasant on Tuesday, June 19th, first pitch is 6 pm.

West Hempfield dropped their 2nd straight game with a 10-4 loss to Young Township at West Lebanon Field.  Traynor Granatire was the starting pitcher and took the loss.  Dylan Visnic pitched in relief and also led the offense with 2 hits.  The West Hempfield defense committed 5 errors in the contest.  West Hempfield will travel to Laube Field in Freeport to play Kiski Valley on Monday, June 18th, 6 pm first pitch.

West Hempfield & Latrobe played 9 innings but the game ended in a 3-3 tie.  The game was called due to darkness.  Jake Anderson was the starting  pitcher and pitched 8 innings.  Anderson gave up 2 runs, 1 earned and struck out 6 Latrobe batters.  Dylan Visnic pitched the 9th  inning giving up a run and a hit.  Mitch Miletics and Anderson drove in runs with 2 outs and Miletics reached base 3 times.  West Hempfield will host Young Township on Wednesday, June 13th, start time is 6 pm.

West Hempfield evened their record to 2-2 with a 6-5 come from behind  victory over Irwin at Norwin High School.  Dylan Visnic got the mound win in relief of Mitch Miletics.  Miletics pitched 4 2/3rds giving up 6 hits and only 1 earned run.  Visnic pitched 1 2/3rds giving up a run and Altier pitched the final 2/3rds of an inning to earn the save.  Trailing by 2 runs going into the 7th inning, West Hempfield scored 3 runs behind doubles by Traynor Granatire and Visnic.  Sam Choby, Visnic, & Granatire all had 2 hits in the contest.  West Hempfield will play again on Wednesday, June 6th when they host Unity at Lint Field, game time 6 pm.

West Hempfield dropped their 2nd game of the season to Bushy Run by the score of 8-0 at Lint Field.  Mitch Miletics was the starting pitcher and took the loss.  Miletics pitched 4 innings giving up 4 runs and 5 hits.  Traynor Granatire pitched the final 3 innings giving up 4 runs and 6 hits.  WH mananged 4 only hits all singles by Jake Anderson, Tristen Fabean, Nick Altier, & Miletics.  WH is now 1-1 on the season and resumes play on Friday, June 1st when they host Hempfield East at Lint Field, 6:00 pm first pitch.
